In addition to the of RoboCup @Home international competition, several countries host Open Tournaments of RoboCup @Home following exactly the same rules. These regional tournaments allow teams to tune up and prepare better for the international contest, as well as for testing the Rulebook. It is highly advised for new participants to attend first to a regional tournament. Participating in an @Home Open has several advantages, like easier qualification and a less tight time schedule due to the reduced number of participants, the production of better qualification materials for the international tournament, and of course the invaluable experience acquired by testing the robot's performance on the rules outside of lab conditions. Below teams can find a list of regional tournaments with deadlines and links for information and registration. AmericaLABRC 2017
